Abrasion Resistant Mesh UpperThe upper of the Peregrine 15 has been upgraded compared to the previous version. Featuring a new highly durable mesh design that is just as breathable, the Peregrine 15 ensures your feet have a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst providing protection so you are ready to conquer every trail. High-wear areas have been reinforced with an extra layer of this high-strength mesh, keeping the shoes looking their best run after run and providing feet with added protection. Increasing protection Saucony have included a durable toe guard to provide you with protection from trail debris.

The uppers remain moisture-wicking to prevent an uncomfortable build-up of sweat and moisture from occurring and keep your feet dry throughout. The shoes include a D ring, making them compatible with gaiters when on those muddy trails. A traditional lacing system holds the midfoot in place, reducing movement within the shoe so you can enjoy uninterrupted strides. Finishing the upper, a cushioned tongue will remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing, and will also block the entry of dirt and debris.

PWRRUN MidsolePowering the Peregrine 15 is an all-new PWRRUN unit. This new updated PWRRUN cushioning still provides that responsive feel you love but with even softer landings and increased flexibility allowing you to push yourself further for longer with confidence. The PWRRUN compound is a thick material that has shock-absorbing properties to reduce impact and strain on the foot, helping you to put those miles in whilst reducing the risk of injury.

FormFit technology has been incorporated into the midsole to create a dynamic fit system. By adapting to the shape and motion of the runner\'s foot, the shoes can eliminate millimetres of movement with each stride, which in turn provides a more comfortable and stable run. This 3D approach to fit uses an underfoot cradle construction that is topped with cushioning that shapes your foot.

Not only does FormFit work to provide a comfortable and supportive fit but, it is also highly flexible and hardwearing increasing the overall durability and comfort over long periods. PWRTRAC OutsoleFinishing the shoes is a newly improved PWRTRAC rubber outsole that provides maximum traction and grip on various surfaces, keeping your gait cycle as efficient as possible.

The upgraded rubber provides full coverage of the sole increasing the surface area and providing a more secure footing as you navigate challenging terrains. Alongside this, are 5mm lugs which grip deep onto soggy trails, providing you excellent support on changing terrain. The ascent/descent-friendly lug configuration allows for ultimate levels of control. This means take-offs, turns and stops are super responsive and you can run in confidence knowing your shoes can handle variable terrain with ease.
